The science of nursing is continuously evolving, but most of its concepts and principles are absolute. Nursing knowledge can sometimes be complex and confusing to students, thus, we have simplified our textbooks, making it easy to read for students in order to facilitate learning and effective retention of its content. All the information is presented in sections of reasonable length so that students can easily understand the knowledge. The US NURSING REVIEW textbooks distills the knowledge we have collected over the past 5 years as we have educated nurses to pass the NCLEX RN-PN® and CNA state examination. The contents of the textbooks are drawn from the author’s research, the knowledge she gained working for 10 years as a nurse educator, and from her experiences as a practicing nurse, moving up the ranks until she became a manager – a transition phase vital to gaining knowledge. The US NURSING REVIEW textbooks are the same ones we have used over the past 3 years, these are the textbooks that has successfully helped nursing students prepare at our Chicago location to pass the NCLEX RN/PN with ease in only 75 to 205 questions and the state board exam for CNA. The author of this book, Mary Jane Evangelista, BSMT, BSN, RN, MAN, was presented with the Excellence in Education award by the Chicago Filipino Asian American Hall of Fame 2014.
